HAND RAILING

Hand railing for indoor and outdoor applications are essentially functional items providing safety near stairways and other areas. We ensure that our hand railing systems offer the best possible safety, with ease of hand grip and secure fixing to walls. Our handrailing systems are developed in accordance with The application of the National Building Regulations ( SABS 0400-1990).

From an aesthetic point of view, we ensure above industry standard product finishes, well finished components, that will add to the appeal of the application. In addition, we offer a range of stainless steel grades and surface finishes that will suit most applications, from exterior coastal areas through to indoor buildings with mild atmospheric conditions.

All our handrailing and fixtures are manufactured according to ASTM A554/03 with the dimensional size tolerances as per ASTM A450. Alternate international specifications are also available where required. All material is traceable back to its point of origin, through manufacturers Test Certificates, detailing grade, chemical composition, specification, finish and dimensions. These test certificates are issued in accordance with EN10204.
Our detailed management of all materials and components limits the risk of mix-ups and the client not getting what they specified.

Only Grade 304 stainless steel is used in the facility, to prevent contamination of the work by other metals and risk of incorrect materials being used in fabrication. We are members of the Southern African Stainless Steel Development Association (SASSDA) and prescribe to their code of conduct in all our operations.
